Mediterranean - from an original template by DemusDesign - is a two column free WordPress theme, with right hand-sidebar, enabled for widgets. In addition, the theme has post comments separated from pingback/trackbacks and support for gravatars.

The theme has been tested on Firefox 2, Internet Explorer 6 and 7, and Opera 9.

Alpen WordPress Theme

Alpen is a fixed-width, 2 column theme with a right hand sidebar, enabled for widgets - it’s got snow and mountains…

Comments are gravatar-enabled and will work whether you’re using WP2.5 or lower - the gravatar plugin is not required. There’s also a separation of user comments from pingbacks/trackbacks.
